For the "Sun Orchestra," founded by Hossam Mahmoud and comprised of blind and visually impaired musicians, "Darkness" is created, based on texts by the poets Octavio Paz and Robert Schindel, for Alina Konarska-Schmidt & Gerlinde Sämann, vocals; Silvia Habisch, flute; Go Yomamoto, violin; Johannes Wessiepe, viola; and Johannes Garlichs & Matthias Gampe, organ.
